PayHighRisk assesses your business model, jurisdiction, processing volume, customer geography and payment requirements, then, where there is a realistic fit, connects your business with relevant payment partners in our network for review and potential onboarding.
Start your payment assessmentA structured review of your business, processing profile and payment requirements. Free, and read by a person.
We do not approve merchants and we do not promise that anyone will — approval is the payment partner's decision, taken after underwriting. How this works
We assess your business model, jurisdiction, risk profile and processing requirements, then identify which payment partners could realistically consider your file. We are not a payment gateway or a processor, and we never hold or move your money. What we save you is the weeks that scattergun applications cost.
You tell us the facts
A short assessment: what you sell, where you are incorporated, your volumes, and what happened with previous processors.
We review it by hand
A person reads every submission. If your profile has no realistic route today, we say so rather than passing you around.
We check with a partner
Before any introduction, we confirm with a payment partner that your profile fits what they underwrite.
You are introduced
The partner takes over documentation, underwriting and the merchant account. You deal with them directly from there.
Why work with PayHighRisk
A network of payment partners
We assess your business, then — where there is a realistic fit — introduce it to payment partners whose stated requirements match your profile.
Profile-based matching
We compare your industry, jurisdiction, customer geography, volume and payment needs against what each partner has told us it accepts.
Honest pre-screening
You learn what is weak in your file before a partner sees it — including when the answer is that no route exists today.
One route at a time
A merchant goes to one partner, chosen before submission. Applying everywhere at once stacks refusals on your record.
The partner decides
We introduce and support. Underwriting, KYB and the final decision stay with the payment partner, always.
Sectors we look at
Every merchant is assessed individually on business model, incorporation, customer geography and expected volume. Appearing on this list is not a promise that we have a route for you.
What to expect from us
What we do
- Read your profile the way an underwriter will, and tell you where it is weak.
- Check with a payment partner before making any introduction.
- Tell you when the answer is no, and why, so you can act on it.
- Keep what you send us confidential and share it only with a partner reviewing your file.
What we do not do
- Approve merchant accounts. Only an acquirer decides, after underwriting.
- Promise approval, timelines or rates before a partner has reviewed your file.
- Act as an agent for any payment provider, or negotiate terms on their behalf.
- Charge you to submit an assessment.
High-Risk Payment Assessment
Around three minutes. The more precise your answers, the faster we can tell you whether we have a route for you.
Questions merchants ask
Will I definitely be approved?
No, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something. Approval is an underwriting decision taken by an acquirer after reviewing your company, your documents and your processing history. What we can do is avoid wasting your time on partners who would never have underwritten your sector.
What does it cost me?
The assessment is free and there is no fee for an introduction. Our partners pay us when a merchant they accept starts processing, which is why we have no interest in sending them profiles that will not pass underwriting.
My previous account was terminated. Is it worth applying?
Often yes, and it is far better to say so up front. Terminations are common in high-risk sectors and underwriters expect them. What harms an application is discovering the history later, which reads as concealment rather than context.
What happens to my information?
It is stored by PayHighRisk and shared with a payment partner only to assess your enquiry. Some of our partners operate outside the European Union, so a transfer may be involved; the details are in our privacy policy, which you accept when you submit the form.
How long does the whole process take?
We reply to the assessment quickly, usually within one business day. What follows is out of our hands: underwriting timelines depend on the acquirer, your sector and how complete your documents are. Anyone quoting you a fixed number before seeing your file is guessing.
